We are delighted to be involved with market leader David Salisbury here at The Chelsea Gardener. Their beautiful and exclusive Orangery and the new new modern Garden Room are open to the public in the heart of our lush garden. These stunning traditional and contemporary buildings showcase remarkable quality and practice involved in the manufacturing of a bespoke David Salisbury design. Mezcalito is one of Chelsea’s true hidden gems. Their beautiful garden allows you to enjoy a bite to eat throughout the day, or just a relaxing drink in the evening. A heated and retractable structure provides a cosy atmosphere during winter days. Come Spring and Summer, you will enjoy all the sunshine there is! Whether you fancy brunch with a Mexican twist, a cocktail or popping on a Mexican sombrero with a tequila shot, Mezcalito is the destination for you.
Higham Place, nestled in the bucolic beauty of John Constable’s Dedham Vale, is where our journey began. David Fenwick bought it in 1936, from where he established the family’s first nursery gardens, and his sons Charles and Justin then founded The Chelsea Gardener in 1984. The Palace Gardener in Fulham, and The Chelsea Courtyard Bistro&Café have since joined the family. Based at Higham Place, we are proud to add Idyllic Suffolk with their luxurious eclectic holiday cottages.
