Pomegranate. Although Its rare for the fruit to set in the UK it does make a beautiful tree. It has small ovate leaves which when produced are a coppery red colour. In summer flowers are produced and may begin to set the fruit which unfortunately do not come to much but do look attractive. Through autumn the foliage changes to gold and red before falling in winter. It is a very hardy tree which appreciates as much sun as it can get. Plant in containers or in the garden.
