Sometimes called the Himalayan Daphne because of its origin and fragrant yellow Daphne-like flowers. It is a slow growing, deciduous shrub that bears flowers on bare branches in late winter. The flowers are held in clusters which appear to be upside down at first. Following the flowers, ovate leaves are produced and remain until winter.
