Now relatively well known in the UK, the Kentia Palm is a wonderful specimen palm, tolerating low light levels (give more light to larger specimens) and needing little specialist care. It will add an air of the exotic into any room. Site: Bright indirect light to shade. Temp: Average warmth. Water: Water well in the growing season spring/summer to ensure the compost does not dry out, however reduce frequency of watering during the winter. If you live in a hard water area use rainwater instead. Feeding: A liquid feed every 2 - 3 weeks during the growing season.Tip: If reppoting use an ericaceous compost and do not use leaf shine.
